One of the great Roman Catholic Traditions of Lent is the practice of pilgrimage to the Stational Churches. At St. Peter in Volo, we participate in this tradition by a daily procession to a shrine set up in front of Mary’s altar.

Join us this Friday to close out the season of Christmas with the traditional feast of Candlemas! 3 Masses throughout the day including simple blessings of candles, with the solemn blessing taking place at our 7:30 PM High Mass.
All women are invited to the monthly Holy Hour of the St. Anne's Sodality, St. Peter's women's group, meeting on the 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM!
With area schools closed today due to the bitter cold temperatures, we too, for the safety of our students, families, and catechists, will cancel Religious Education classes for this evening.
This year, to again ensure our ability to better serve the parish, we limited the number of intentions that each family was able to request. However, at this time, there are a small number of remaining Mass intentions for the year.
Due to the winter storm in effect, the Parish Office will be closed from 10:00 AM through the rest of the day. We will reopen on Monday at our normal time.
