St. Joseph’s Table Dinner

When: The Solemnity of St. Joseph - Saturday, March 19th
         Time: 6:30 - 9:30 PM        Place: St. Peter’s School

The tradition of the St. Joseph’s Table comes to us from Sicily. During a time of drought and famine, the people prayed desperately for St. Joseph’s intercession. When the rain poured down, they rejoiced, and after the harvest, they prepared a table with foods to honor St. Joseph and show their gratitude. Thanking and honoring him, they distributed the food to the less fortunate.

In that spirit of charity, this year's 2022 St. Joseph’s Table Dinner will serve as a fundraiser, with all proceeds raised going to support the Catholic Charities Food Pantry located in Round Lake.

The suggested donation for attending the St. Joseph's Table Dinner this year is $20.00 per adult (17 and over) and $10.00 per child (16 and under). Payment can be made in advance or at the dinner, via cash,
or check made payable to "St. Peter's Church"
