The Feast of Epiphany celebrates three manifestations of God, among them, is the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan where Jesus is revealed as the Son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity, and in which event Our Lord sanctifies the water by His baptism for our own baptism.
For this reason, on the vigil of the Feast of the Epiphany, the Church gives us a particularly powerful blessing of water. As the vigil falls on Wednesday, January 5th, we invite you to join us for our Wednesday evening Latin Mass* at 7:00 PM, to be followed by the blessing of Epiphany water.
If you wish to have water blessed, please bring your water in one-gallon jugs. You may wish to write your name on the container to make it easier to collect afterward.
