The tradition of the St. Joseph’s Table comes to us from Sicily. During a time of drought and famine, the people prayed desperately for St. Joseph’s intercession. When the rain poured down, they rejoiced, and after the harvest, they prepared a table with foods to honor St. Joseph and show their gratitude. Thanking and honoring him, they distributed the food to the less fortunate.
In that spirit of charity, all proceeds from the 2022 St. Joseph’s Table Dinner will go to support the Catholic Charities Food Pantry located in Round Lake.
Space will be limited, so be sure to watch for more info about attending!
